When I first got this in during the change over from old sync, I loved the feel of the hair afterwards, and the cooler tones, I have found for toning after highlights on NL 6 and up, I recommend using a 5 vol, as while I love the longevity of the new formula, I do tend to get some base shift on those lighter levels, leave on with the 5vol for the full 20min processing time. Otherwise, love the light smell and creamy spreadable texture. my new fav
